Getting the invite through W&M provided credibility… This was a positive experience and a good entry-point to getting more involved in future alumni events.”
BAY AREA ATTENDEE

The problem

Young alumni are moving to Seattle, San Francisco and LA, cities W&M finds it not only hard to reach, but challenging to host in. The cities are large, alumni are spread out, and generalized central locations are a turn-off.

What they did

W&M was curious to try an event its team or volunteers didn’t have to host. It sent one invite for Seattle and the Bay Area on back-to-back nights, and Outpost found the restaurants and powered the conversations.

What happened

In the Bay Area, half the table had never been to a W&M event and the other half hadn’t in over a year. Across both dinners, 5 of 6 respondents are likely to come again, most within three months.
