This feedback is incredible and seems to have provided our members exactly what we were hoping: intimate conversation, a shorter runway to building relationships, finding commonalities amongst one another, and fostering further conversation.”
KATELEN WATKINS, PROGRAM MANAGER, PLAYMAKERS NASHVILLE
This was seriously so amazing — LOVED the women I met and the conversations we had… We have a groupchat now and are planning to meet again in the future!”
SEPTEMBER ATTENDEE

The problem

Playmakers wanted women to meet across career stages and generations without a formal matching program, and a young team couldn’t put a board member at every table.

What they did

Playmakers was excited to try mentorship that didn’t depend on one-to-one matches. Members booked an evening of mentorship and were seated in tables of four to six for two hours of The Game’s guided conversation.

What happened

Nine members came in July, and all six respondents were very likely to return. Sixteen came in September. All 14 respondents said very likely, and rated both the small group and The Game 5 out of 5.

What's next

A dinner series through the year, each one a little bigger, replacing other planning-intensive, lesser attended formats
