Everyone loved it and really loved the way that the questions actually gave equal amount of time for each person to speak… there was one conversation instead of two sidebar conversations.”
LORI SCHEIBEL, BRAINTRUST CHARLOTTE MARKET LEADER
The group size was perfect, the questions were interesting but not overwhelming, and this was a much better alternative to a typical networking event.”
SEPTEMBER ATTENDEE

The problem

Members are deeply tied to their own vault of 8 to 12 founders, but less to the broader high-impact community. During open networking time, they wait for staff to make introductions.

What they did

BrainTrust wanted to unlock a way for members to meet beyond their vault without staff brokering every introduction. It tested two tables in Charlotte, then ran one September event across its current 3 markets.

What happened

All 24 September attendees called it time well spent. All 23 who answered want to come again, 21 of them very likely, and 16 want the next one within a month.

What's next

A monthly rhythm, and exploring dinners as a way for prospective members to meet BrainTrust.
